Approximately 25,000 households in southeastern Queensland woke up lacking electricity on Monday's dawn after powerful weather events passed over the state, generating wind gusts topping 109km/h.
Substantial Hailstones and Broad Impact
Residents reported giant hailstones as large as seven centimeters in certain regions. Weather authorities confirmed that various areas across the state had been affected by significant hail.
