Two more people have been arrested in connection with a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport where over twenty individuals sustained injuries by a substance believed to be an irritant spray, according to law enforcement.

A man, 24, was taken into custody in Lambeth on suspicion of robbery and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. They both are still being held, authorities confirmed.

These detentions follow an investigation into an assault at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the incident, two women were robbed of their luggage upon exiting a parking garage elevator.

A three-year-old girl was among the those hurt during the incident. Five people went to hospital for medical care and were later released.

Officers arrested a man in his thirties on suspicion of robbery and assault close to the scene. He was subsequently released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.

Police were called at about 8:10 in the morning GMT after reports came in regarding several individuals injured by an irritating chemical believed to be an irritant spray.

The attack - which authorities stated was isolated and not being treated as terrorism - resulted in train delays and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park briefly.
